Additional Visa Support Letter for 5th ISA Forum in Morocco

Dear RC02 members and participants of the upcoming ISA conference in Rabat,

We would like to remind you of the following information circulated by the ISA concerning visa requirements and conference invitation letters. We hope that you secure both the ISA invitation letter and the one being provided by the Moroccan Sociological Instance (MSI), one of the Forum's co-organizers. You are urged to acquire both for easier travel experince to Morocco.

As circulated by the ISA:

This email contains important information regarding visa support for attending the 5th ISA Forum of Sociology in Rabat, Morocco. Although the content is relevant only to participants who need a visa to enter
Morocco, we are sending it to all registered attendees, as we do not have information about individual visa requirements.

KEY INFORMATION REGARDING VISAS:

        * Moroccan authorities have been informed: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Morocco has officially notified Moroccan embassies and consulates around the world about the ISA Forum.

        * E-visa information available online: You can consult the Moroccan government's website www.acces-maroc.ma for up-to-date information on e-visas. Please note that the list of countries eligible for the e-visa changes frequently based on evolving bilateral agreements between Morocco and
other nations.

        * Visa invitation letter available: The Local Organizing Committee has launched a dedicated website — https://www.isaforummorocco.com/— where you can request a visa invitation letter signed by the Moroccan Sociological Instance (MSI), one of the Forum's co-organizers.

This letter is different from the ISA invitation letter. We strongly recommend that you request this visa support letter even if you already have your visa and/or if you have already received the ISA invitation letter.

        * Automatic delivery and data sharing with authorities: After completing the online form, you will automatically receive the invitation letter with the subject line: Visa Invitation Letter. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

Once you have submitted your information, Université Mohammed V, also an organizing institution, will forward your details to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry will, in turn, inform embassies and consulates that you are officially attending the ISA Forum.

        * Important note: While these steps facilitate the process, they do not guarantee the issuance of a visa. As with any country, visa decisions depend on internal criteria specific to each government.

NEXT STEPS

If you need a visa, we encourage you to:

        * Request the Moroccan visa support letter as soon as possible, even if you already have your visa.

        * Begin your visa application process without delay.

        * Carry a printed copy of the MSI letter when you travel to Morocco.

We thank you for your attention and look forward to seeing you in Rabat.

Warm regards,
