5th ISA Forum of Sociology, Rabat - Student Dormitory and Childcare Services Available

Dear RC02 members,

Please take note of the following services offered by the ISA for the upcoming 5th ISA Forum of Sociology in Rabat. These services are available for a limited time.

  • Affordable Student Dormitory Accommodation
    Thanks to the support of lodging grants, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) in Morocco offers affordable student dormitory accommodation to Forum participants. A limited number of beds are still available, and the reservation system is now open to all attendees. Reservations are non-cancellable. Deadline to reserve: 15 June 2025.

    Location: Dormitories on the campus of Mohamed V University

    Room Type: Gender-separated double rooms (2 persons per room, each with a single bed). Please note: it is not possible to book a mixed-gender room, and this option is not suitable for couples.

    Cost: €25 per bed, per night

    Facilities: Shared showers, toilets, and kitchens in each pavilion

    Availability: From 1 July to 16 July 2025

    Room Sharing: If you reserve one bed, you will be randomly paired with another participant of the same gender. To reserve a full room (i.e., not share with a stranger), you must book two beds.

    Payment Options: Bank transfer, to be completed before arrival (details provided at booking). Cash upon arrival, in exact MAD. No change will be provided on-site. Refundable Deposit: €50 (or equivalent in USD/MAD), to be paid in cash at check-in and refunded at the end of your stay if no damage is reported. If you choose to pay in cash and fail to show up, the full accommodation fee will still be due. In such cases, payment will be required to attend the ISA Forum at the time of badge pickup.

  • Childcare Services During the Forum
    The LOC offers paid childcare services near the event venue to support participating parents. Children aged 2 to 8 years will be cared for by qualified professionals in a secure, child-friendly environment.
