CfA: Stanford APARC Postdoctoral and Visiting Fellowships 2027–2029; DL: 1 December, 2026 / 25 January & 1 March, 2027

Stanford University’s Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) invites applications for several postdoctoral and visiting fellowships in contemporary Asian studies beginning in fall 2027.

The opportunities are open to scholars from a range of disciplinary backgrounds and include fellowships focused on contemporary Asia broadly, Asia health policy, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and emerging social, cultural, economic, and political challenges in the Asia-Pacific region.

The available opportunities include the Shorenstein Postdoctoral Fellowship on Contemporary Asia, the Asia Health Policy Program Postdoctoral Fellowship, the Lee Kong Chian NUS–Stanford Fellowship on Southeast Asia, the Stanford Next Asia Policy Lab Postdoctoral and Visiting Fellowships, and the Kwoh-Ting Li Visiting Fellowship in Taiwan studies.

Application deadlines vary by fellowship, with deadlines falling between 1 December 2026 and 1 March 2027.
