The Department of Sociology at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a position as Associate Professor of Sociology, to begin in fall 2027. The department anticipates appointing up to two associate professors through this search.
Successful candidates will have a record of excellent empirical research in any field(s) of sociology, with publications and research commensurate with those of leading sociologists at a similar career stage. Teaching and service will also be taken into account. A Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience or equivalent are required.
